Groups from around the territory will participate.

A Gospel Arts Celebration, “Windows of the World,” is slated for Saturday night during Commissioning weekend.

This exciting event will showcase music and gospel arts groups from around the Western Territory and will be an expression of praise to our Maker. Peter Graham’s music, “Windows of the World,” will be the centerpiece of the evening, highlighting music from different areas of the world. This evening will recognize our culturally diverse territory with dance, drama, and song; there will also be some thought-provoking moments.

Our aim is to have every division in the territory represented in some way. A 150-voice chorus will be participating, brought together from four divisions, and the Seattle Temple Band will be resident for the weekend. We have not held a large musical event for a few years now and the time has come for us to do so again!
It will be a wonderful opportunity to enjoy Salvation Army music and gospel arts—both traditional and contemporary. We’ll also focus on countries around the world who partner with the West, as well as celebrate God’s love for us.

The evening will conclude with all of our 200 participants and the congregation lifting up those now familiar words of Richard Smallwood, “Lord, I lift my hands in total praise to you!”

Mark your calendars—don’t miss out!!
