General Arnold Brown Promoted to Glory

General Arnold Brown (R), The Salvation Army’s 11th General, was promoted to Glory on June 26, 2002 from a hospital in Toronto, Canada. He was 90 years old.

Known for his energetic, imaginative and inspired leadership–as well as his public relations genius–he served as the Army’s international leader from 1977-1981.
