GREAT THINGS–Captain Glenda Berko and flagbearers Majors Oscar and Lucille Youngquist (R) join new Junior soldiers Walter Bowen, Shalakeka Newell and Shaquanna Young at the Corona Outpost.

Great things are happening in Corona, Calif.,with Lieutenants Jack and Luci Bowen in-charge at the Corona Outpost.

The outpost, opened in October 1997, has a Sunday school attendance of 25, a Holiness meeting attendance of 30 and a growing outreach. The Riverside Corps is its “parent” corps.

“We just finished a week-long vacation Bible school, which had an average attendance of 27,” said Lt. Jack Bowen.

Captain Glenda Berko recently enrolled the first Junior soldiers of the outpost: Walter Bowen, Shalakeka Newell and Shaquanna Young. Majors Oscar and Lucille Youngquist (R) participated in the ceremony as flag bearers.

Sierra Del Mar Divisional leaders, Majors Don and Debora Bell, will enroll Senior soldiers there in July.
