Pictured above at the San Clemente (Calif.) Family Thrift store is the winning team in the recent Noah’s ARC Design Challenge (New Frontier, April 9, 2010), which brought together The Salvation Army’s Anaheim Adult Rehabilitation Center (ARC) and the American Society of Interior Designers Orange County. Winning team members, students of interior design at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo, are (l-r): Marisela Osborne, Tamara Stratton, Deidre Greenberger, Alicja Davis and Marisela Osborne. Major Bill Heiselman, Anaheim ARC administrator, is also pictured, as is Jan Landstrom, ARC advisory council member.

The team named their display “A Room With A View.” All the furnishings—donations except for the live plants on loan from Lowes—were sold by silent auction. Sherwin Williams donated the paint for all five of the room displays.
