Griffins, Starretts Promoted to Lt. Colonel

The General has approved the promotion of Majors Terry and Linda Griffin and Majors Daniel and Helen Starrett to the rank of Lt. Colonel, effective June 8, 1999. Before assuming command of the Alaska Division, the Griffins served as Training Principal and Director of Special Services at the College for Officer Training and in several divisional appointments, including General Secretary in Southern California.

Starrett has been in charge of the Adult Rehabilitation Centers Command since July 1994. Before that, he was administrator of the Seattle ARC in 1992. Lt. Colonel Helen Starrett has served as director of special services.
