“Teach me your way, O Lord, and I will walk in your truth; give me an undivided heart, that I may fear your name” (Psalm 86:11), was the theme of the vacation Bible school held recently at the Santa Ana Corps.

Each day an average of 200 boys and girls of all ages day enjoyed dynamic Bible lessons, drama, games, videos, crafts and sports. A missionary story exposed the children to the challenges faced by missionaries around the world and inspired them to raise an offering to support missions.

Several community families attended the Sunday morning service where Salvation Army programs and services were explained, inviting people to “Come join our Army.”

More than 80 enthusiastic leaders and volunteers added to the success of the week. A total of 800 individuals participated during the week, and 86 children accepted Jesus as their Lord and Savior.
