Mr. Richard C. Tucker has been a valued member of the National Advisory Board of The Salvation Army for 10 years. He is Chairman and CEO of Tri-State Bank in Denver and Boulder, Colorado, which he founded in 1963. Mr. Tucker has contributed a wealth of experience and expertise to Salvation Army units throughout the United States.
He is a past chairman of the Metropolitan Denver Advisory Board, where he was chairman of a successful $5 million capital campaign.
He has served in many community service projects. He is past governor of the Rocky Mountain District for Kiwanis International and past director of the National Campfire Girls, the recipient of their highest award.
He is past president and past chairman of the American Financial Services Association and was the recipient of their Distinguished Service Award in 1977. He is past president and director of the Colorado Consumer Finance Association and the Independent Bankers of Colorado. Patricia Tucker is active in The Salvation Army Auxiliary and has served as its past chairperson in Denver. Both are active in Colorado Christian movements.
