San Diego Citadel Guards Are Tops

For the second straight year, the 13-member Girl Guard troop from the San Diego Citadel Corps, under the leadership of Corps Officers Captains William and Harryette Raihl, has ranked tops in the territory. Troop leader is Rosalie Doom, mother of Captain Diane Doom, territorial Guard and Sunbeam director.

Captain Lucila Doria, divisional Sunbeam and Guard director, says, “This troop is very active. Last year two of these girls earned the General’s Guard award and now five of them are applying for the same award. Next week they are going to appear before the Board of Examiners.”
