sa continues work in midst of congo crisis. according to recent reports, salvation army personnel and property in kinshasa, the capital city of congo, remain unharmed in the midst of growing rebellion in that country. while the city has been under curfew and gunfire is not uncommon, most of the rebellion is taking place to the east, near the border with rwanda. lay salvationist eleanor jones, who works across the river from kinshasa in brazzaville, reports she is currently not in danger.
