During her first visit to Zimbabwe, World President of Women’s Ministries, Commissioner Sue Swanson, dynamically shared God’s Word in a holiness meeting held at the Aquatic Complex in Chitungwiza, Harare Eastern Division on 18 March.
People travelled from all areas of the country to attend the meeting along with delegates from the recently concluded Women African Leaders Conference. Some of the delegates testified during the meeting which was led by Commissioner Rosemary Makina, Zonal Secretary for Women’s Ministries, Africa Zone.
In her Bible message, Commissioner Swanson declared that no one is shut out of God’s Kingdom and nobody should say: ‘It does not mean me! God wants a relationship with us and Jesus made it possible for us to be reconciled to God, so that we can know him as our heavenly Father. We, in turn, should want Jesus to be born in the hearts of people so that they become productive for his Kingdom.’
Commissioner Swanson said she felt privileged to pray for Majors Yohana and Jesinara Msongwe, Tanzanian officers currently serving in Zimbabwe, for their 25 years of faithful service.
A vibrant praise of God surged through the meeting, aided by the exceptional contributions of various musical sections including Harare Central Songsters and the Territorial Youth Singers, Timbrelists, Songsters and Band.
Following Commissioner Swanson’s message people thronged to the mercy seat where the commissioner, officers and cadets prayed with them.
