Members of The Salvation Army’s National Advisory Board (NAB) met recently with Southern California divisional and territorial representatives at the Tournament of Roses House to begin planning for the National Advisory Organizations Conference (NAOC), to be held in Pasadena in 1999.
Also attending were Colonel John Bate and Pasadena and Los Angeles Metro Advisory Board members.
Steve Reinemund, NAB chair, stated “While each NAOC has a different ‘personality,’ they all share a common purpose: to train and motivate volunteers around the country in service to The Salvation Army, and to give them all a better understanding of the Army and what it does.”
NAB members Sally Harris and Jonathon Killmer are co-chairs of the NAOC-99. The last national convention was held in Minneapolis/St. Paul in 1995.
