A Caring Place to Live
Low-income seniors enjoy a comfortable, active environment in the Laura Danieli Senior Center–where eight floors filled with self-sufficient apartments provide homes to hundreds of senior citizens.
Every day, 90-100 share in congregate meals at the Center, and another 80 meals are delivered to shut-ins.
Socialization opportunities provide interaction for residents and friends. Free activities include exercise classes, health check-ups, arts and crafts, Bible studies, financial counseling and legal, medical and transportation referrals.
On Thursdays, Phoenix Citadel Corps Officer Major Harry Lacey brings smiles to hearts and faces, as he plays his accordion for diners at lunch and conducts a church service.
