larsson announces commissioner bond appointment. june 16, 2005, london—general john larsson announced, today, the return to service of commissioner linda bond. the west’s former territorial commander is appointed secretary for spiritual development and international external relations at international headquarters effective july 1, 2005. for the time being, she will be based in brampton, near toronto, canada. the position concerns itself with the spiritual life of salvationists and interaction with other denominations on the global ecumenical scene. colonels earl and benita robinson, based in vancouver, canada, have undertaken these responsibilities while in retirement and have now returned to retired status. the couple will continue in their respective roles of chair and secretary of the international doctrine council.
