With the theme of “My Best for His Highest,” more than 200 campers, staff, family and friends recently gathered in the Aspen Ridge Center at High Peak Camp for the final festival of the Intermountain Division’s Music and Creative Arts Camp.

In addition to the traditional band, vocal and timbrel items, electives in guitar, praise and worship, music in motion, drama and puppets were also featured at the festival. Electives were also offered throughout the week in vocal solo, computer music and music appreciation.

Special guests Scott and Karen Gross from Argyle Citadel Corps, Hamilton, Ont., endeared themselves to staff and students alike, not only with their musical gifts, but also their readiness to share their faith.

Top award winners were: Brian Meeker Memorial Award–Maya Hicks (West Adams); Junior Honor Student–Isaac Irby (Lakewood New Heights); Senior Honor Student–Jeremy Kissane (Colorado Springs)
