Adam Loo, Glendale, Calif., Corps soldier, graduated with top honors from the Los Angeles Police Academy’s 1999 graduating class. From his class of 31 officer recruits, Adam received first place for outstanding individual achievement and superior performance in Academics, Law and Physical Training. He also set a new record for the running portion of the qualifying test, breaking a police department record set in the 1930s.
Adam was congratulated for his accomplishments by Los Angeles Police Chief Bernard Parks.
Southern California Divisional Commander Lt. Colonel Al Van Cleef, Corps Officer Major Floyd Bacon and a host of family, friends, corps and advisory board members supported Adam at the ceremony. He will be stationed in the Los Angeles Wilshire division.
