The Reno, NV, Corps held an “Around the World” dinner to raise funds for a new girls’ orphanage in Palu, on the island of Central Sulawesi, Indonesia. The rebuilding of the girls’ home is a Del Oro divisional project, coordinated by Major Eileen Hoogstad.

Sixty-eight girls ages 5-18 now live in a building with deplorable conditions that floods every time it rains. With the division’s help, the girls should have a new home that houses 82 by next April.
