Pasadena Tabernacle Songster Leader William B. Flinn learned of his promotion to that of Chief Operating Officer of the Pasadena Tournament of Roses following his return from a three week Songster tour of Australia.
Flinn’s responsibilities have expanded considerably with the announcement that the Rose Bowl game will now be part of a new alliance to determine a national champion of college football. He will have responsibility for the day-to-day operations and general administration of the Tournament of Roses Association that annually produces “The Rose Parade and Rose Bowl Game.”
“I’m excited for this opportunity,” Flinn stated. “I’m thrilled and humbled by the confidence being placed in me.”
The Rose Parade is seen by more than 400 million people in 90 countries around the world, and the Rose Bowl Game is viewed by more than 250 million.
