Dianne Lindsay was born in Bellsville, Scotland and raised in The Salvation Army. She immigrated to Canada as a young woman; there she met and married Albert Bassett, who was corps songster leader at Niagra Falls
In 1963 they moved to Kalamazoo, Mich. Their son Mark was two and daughter Andrea was a small baby. While there, Andrea died from a heart defect. They later were blessed with another daughter, Kendra.
In Tucson, Ariz., they answered God’s call to officership and in 1977 were sent to Las Cruces, where they had a wonderful ministry among the Hispanic people for five years. Later appointments were in Roswell, N.M., and Redwood City, Calif. In Burbank, in 1991, Abe was promoted to Glory. Dianne served at Riverside as an associate officer and has administered the Riverside Silvercrest Residence since 1994.
