Internationally known musician Steve Amerson will be the special guest at the upcoming Good Friday service, held at the Western Territory’s Crestmont campus.

This year, the event is titled “The Shadow of the Cross.” An ensemble cast will portray some of the characters whose lives were touched by Jesus during the events of Easter. The service also features the Cadets Chorus.

Last year, more than 1250 attended the program which featured actress Shirley Jones as special guest.

Well-known in the areas of classical, Christian and main stream music, Amerson maintains a non-stop tour schedule performing concerts and presenting musical workshops around the world. An accomplished studio vocalist as well, he can be heard in everything from Toyota and Microsoft commercials to the soundtracks of such major motion pictures as “Pocahontas,” “The Hunt for Red October,” and “Glory.”

All are invited to a bread and broth fellowship lunch following the service.
