The Great Victory Congress
“I beseech you therefore brethren by the mercies of God that you present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God which is your reasonable service…” Romans 12:1
What EXACTLY is reasonable service? The Lord calls each of us to give our lives in service to him, but what does that entail? For each person what is “reasonable” will be different. The one thing we can all know is that service is something God has called us to do.
On June 7, at the Great Victory Congress, Mrs. General Kay Rader will be speaking to those interested in learning more about the opportunities for service within The Salvation Army. God is moving within our Army, but he needs those who are willing to step into service positions. That means full time commitments, not only to officership, but also to lay ministry.
The breakfast will include not only a time of sharing with General and Mrs. Rader, but worship with the Lakewood New Heights Praise Band from Colorado and testimonies of those who are in ministry positions.
So, are you seeking some clarity on what is “reasonable service” in your life? Do you have questions about the Lord’s calling? Then this time is for you! The breakfast is by invitation only, but if you have not received an invitation, and are interested in being a part of this, then contact your Divisional Youth Secretary.
