‘Soldier of Christ – Well Done!’ PROMOTED TO GLORY |
Reverend William Collier died recently at the age of 71. He was ordained as a minister under the Conservative Baptist Association of Oregon. For years, he taught and served as a teaching principal in schools in Trout Lake and Skamania, Wash., and pastored churches in those communities. After retirement he traveled as a Salvation Army evangelist with his wife Penny, “The Magic Clown.” He was a soldier at the Portland Tabernacle for eight years, until disabled by a stroke.
Memorial contributions may be made to Salvation Army Children’s Evangelism at territorial headquarters.
