“Frequently, due to short term memory, people consider the most recent of events much better than the previous one. We do not believe this to be the case with this International Cogress,” said Western Territorial Commander Commissioner David Edwards. “The evidence is there to support the feeling that it was indeed the best. “It was the largest gathering ever, the most inclusive participation of peoples from around the world; outstanding speakers all of them, including the General and the Chief of the Staff, a tremendous cross section of music representation, effective use of modern technology. It was all there. “And the result? A tremendous evidence of the moving of the Holy Spirit. Having the Mercy seat dominate the arena was a fantastic idea. If this is ‘the Army Next,’ thank God for what we see.”
